Five years. That's how long we've been going to Meet Magento UK. Every single year, someone on the team says "we'll take it easy at the afterparty this time." Never happens.
MMUK is one of those events where you actually talk to people. Not the badge-scanning, card-exchanging, LinkedIn-adding kind of talking. Real conversations. Usually over pints. Sometimes until closing time.
London, July 6-7
We're heading back this summer. Same crew, same energy. If you're going to be there, come say hello. First round is on us.
Details: meet-magento.co.uk, July 6-7, 2026, London.
Why we keep coming back
Honestly, it's not the sessions. The sessions are good, don't get me wrong. But what I actually walk away with every year are the conversations that happen around them. Between talks, over lunch, at the pub afterwards.
Someone mentions a problem they've been banging their head against. Turns out you solved something similar four months ago. Suddenly you're both three pints deep, drawing architecture diagrams on the back of a napkin. That kind of exchange doesn't happen on Slack or in a forum thread. You need to be in the same room for it.
The people you meet at these events end up being the ones you call when you need a second opinion on a migration plan, or when you're stuck on some obscure Magento behavior that nobody has documented. That's worth the flight and the hotel. Every time.
The afterparty
If you've been, you know. If you haven't: it's the best part of the whole event. The talks wind down, people loosen up, and the conversations get better. We've started more partnerships at MMUK afterparties than in any meeting room.
We're not going to spoil what this year's looks like, but if past editions are anything to go by, you should probably clear your schedule for the evening of July 7th.
Come find us
We'll be around for both days. If you want to talk Magento, Hyva, performance, migrations, or just want to grab a beer and complain about third party modules together, we're in.
See you in London.
